This New Years Eve night and party at Juanita’s in Little Rock, Arkansas had to be the best one I have ever had. Jim from Oblivion Records really picked some awesome bands for this show and Juanita’s were the perfect host. We started out with the unique and energized sound of WishTribe that set the stage for a kick butt night. They truly ROCKED it out hard. Next up was Third Degree and as always, they brought originality and even a few cover songs to us all and brought in the New Year right. Juanita’s gave out champagne, we did the countdown along with the toast and I got one of the best and most unforgettable kisses ever from an INCREDIBLE woman that accompanied me to the show. Lastly, the power house of jam; Land of Mines came up and finished out the night with a volley of songs with some serious energy. All of these bands can be found on MySpace. WishTribe and Third Degree did their very first CD releases in 2008 and both releases were at Juanita’s. The CD’s were recorded under the label of Oblivion Records at Signature Studios. Land of Mines will be recording and cutting their first one in 2009, also with Oblivion Records. In summary, the music was awesome!!! All of you were awesome!!! The remainder of the night was out of this world along with the day after… Weeeeew, a perfect memory!!! It was a pleasure and an honor to meet everyone and look forward to seeing you all at the comedy shows and partying with you throughout 2009.
