This was definitely in the top 3 shows for Doc’s Group Therapy —  It started out with a laugh from the table and never stopped from that point forward.  This show is definitely RATED R!!!  Having the Red Octopus Sketch Comedy troupe — from Arkansas on the panel was an honor and was absolutely hysterical.  The panel included Michael Goodbar, Brian Chambers, Sandy Baskin, Josh Doering, Jason Wiley, Red Octopie / DGT Member Grant Morris, and me / Michael Doc Davis your Host —  The board / sound was managed by none other than the bored-board man Luke Rowlan aka RamThor.  Jill Farris was in the house taking photos and supporting the show… AWESOME!  The show was recorded on the stage at the The Public Theatre ( in Little Rock, Arkansas.  It was a perfect group at a perfect location for a perfect show.  Red Octopus will have shows called Beyond the Valley of the Red Octopus on April 6, 7, 12, 13, 14 at the Public Theatre (616 Center Street in Little Rock).

With such an incredible panel of talent, this show was already destined for greatness.  We went through the show finding out all kinds of juicy super secret stuff about Red Octopus during the interview portion along with some very interesting points of view about politics and the election during the topic of the month.  We then kicked into some Un-DOC-Umented News — and finally ask doc and an open discussion about nick names.  Now we know where Luke got RamThor as a nick name… you can find out in the PodCast.

The music during the show was by Red Octopus (an Original) and also music by Don’t Stop Please —   Don’t Stop Please is an incredible band from Conway, Arkansas that has a sound that is truly unique and will make anyone get moving to their fun and funky music.  Listen to the PodCast and you will get to hear a couple of my favorite songs by them.  One of the songs called Luca, was Dewitt Black’s favorite songs and had to be included.  I will be the emcee and introducing Don’t Stop Please along with Tyrannosaurus Chicken from Fort Smith, Arkansas and Mountain Sprout from Eureka Springs Arkansas at the Roof Top Part above Michael Angelo’s in Conway, Arkansas on April 13th for Revel Magazine —
